About the Institute
IMS Group is founded by Prof Dr Tapash Ranjan Saha to impart valuable education to the aspiring students and make cyt an edge in the field of education by imparting hand on industrial training besides the classroom learning activities. The group is under the Saha Education Society, a non-profit making society registered under Societies’ Registration ACT XXVI of 1961 No. S/IL/16378 of 2003 – 2004. The IMS group consists of twin colleges IMS Bschool and Institute of Management studies (IMS) located at Sonarpur and Mukundapur respectively. Both the colleges are affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT) and are ACTE approved by AICTE. IMS B School imparts to MBA education with Major and Minor specialization to provide the students with extra knowledge to meet the industrial needs. The specialization subjects offered are as follows:

- Operation Analytics
- Health Management
The college caters to MBA curriculum approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and UGC.
The MBA course curriculum provides dual specializations where the students can choose their desired specializations in their second year of study from a combination of 7 management domains, namely MIS, Operations, Business Analytics, Health Care Management, Marketing , Finance, and Human resource. They need to choose one domain as major specialization and another as minor specialization. There are three MBA curriculums running simultaneously to provide a continuous process of learning.
IMSBS provide 2 years full-time regular MBA course curriculum with dual specializations which is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and UGC. The curriculum is designed to run simultaneously in 3 different teaching mode for the convenience of the students.
