Library Rules & Regulations
- Maintain silence inside the library to respect other users.
- Keep your phone on silent/vibrate mode. Take calls outside.
- Food and beverages are not allowed inside the library.
- Handle books and materials carefully. Do not damage or mark them.
- Library card is mandatory for access and book circulation.
- Maximum 2 books can be borrowed per card.
- Duplicate library card charge: ₹150.
- Books are issued for 10 days. Late fine: ₹1 per day per book.
- Pay full market price for lost or damaged books.
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
- Follow instructions of library staff.
- Photography/video requires permission.
- Maintain personal hygiene.
- Ensure accessibility and respect for specially-abled users.
- Final decisions are taken by the Sr. Librarian.
- Library membership card is non-transferable.
- No personal books or printed materials allowed inside.
- Misconduct may lead to suspension of membership.
- Rules may be revised by the Librarian without prior notice.
- Always be respectful and follow library discipline.
