About Library
IMS Business School, Kolkata Established in 2012, IMS Business School is a postgraduate institution located in Kolkata, offering both postgraduate and undergraduate programs. The college is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.
The IMS Business School Library is an open-access library housing a collection of approximately 5,000 books. The library follows the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC 23) system for classification and the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, Second Edition (AACR2) for cataloguing.

Library Regulations
- Library Operation Hours: 10.00 AM to 9.00 PM
- Any damage to library books will result in appropriate action
- Each student can borrow 4 books for 15 days. Rs 1/day fine after that
- Library membership card is mandatory for borrowing
- Membership card is non-transferable
- Duplicate card available for Rs 150 in case of loss
- Librarians have authority to lend/not lend books
- Membership card must be returned at the end of final year or on exit
